Carl, thought you might like to know this posting has gotten some good interest. Hopefully others like myself will look to your company. I will be posting pictures and shot group results when I get my mini back. Thes guys love it.
Hi Carl, Subject: My new Mini-14 mods, 2/13/2025
Don't remember if I told you this, but when I first got my Mini-14 home from Scheels in Dec and tested it out, I HATED it. Badly. What a hot mess it was. It was loud and clanky, it was violent, it threw the brass 30 yards and dented the cases, the safety was weird, and it was double-firing. I literally almost got back in the car right that second and returned it as a mistake.
But I'm glad I didn't. This is going to sound like a cheesy paid testimonial, but I just put 20 rounds through it, I couldn't wait, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it now! It's fantastic, a new rifle. What a difference! It's smoother, the trigger is fantastic at 3lb 13 oz, the recoil is quite diminished, and it's not loud and clanky and violent. When you fire it, you just get a pleasing "POP!". Clearly, the bolt buffer and new spring (and lower gas pressure) are making a huge difference. And of course I was messing with the new adjustable gas block. That's an incredible piece of work of yours. I turned it all the way down, and used the Mini as a bolt-action rifle. That way I didn't lose cases in the snow. And I tweaked it back up so it tossed the brass just 5 or 6 feet (it was at 10-12 ft when I got it home). I'm SUPER glad I opted for the adjustable block. I love having the option and the flexibility.
The Mini-14 fills a niche in my collection, and now that it's a dream-boat, I'm super glad I kept it and brought it to you. I can't wait to get a suppressor on it.
My wife and I are watching Band of Brothers for the first time right now. So of course I'm talking her ear off about the M-1, its ancestry and descendants, and the similarities to the Mini-14. This puts her right to sleep of course...
Thanks for all the good work and conversation.

Carl,
The quality of the work you and your son did on my mini 14 has exceeded my expectations.
The trigger, the barrel, the scope mount and everything else is great.
Spring cannot come soon enough so I can start on the break in process.
I will send updates on my progress and pictures of my best groups.
Thanks again for a great job.
Hi Guy's, I got my part Mini 14/30 Birch wood hand guard. It fits wonderfully. Where is my online review? You guys rock!!

Carl,
Thank you for fitting your extended firing pin to my Mini 30 Bolt. Before the replacement I would typically have 2 to 4 misfires per 20 round mag due to the steel case hard primers. Really annoying considering how reliable a Ruger Mini normally is. I took the rifle to the range and put 100 rounds through it without a single misfire. Shooting the Mini 30 was an enjoyable experience for a change. I consider the money a well spent investment!Sincerely,
Jon Simper
Hello,
Thank You - Very happy about my purchase!!
I just received my mini-14 walnut stock and vented handguard (order 22909), I wanted to thank you for the craftsmanship and quick shipping . The wood is beautiful, the fit is tight and it made my mini look absolutely amazing.

Good Morning,
Just a FYI, I have a Ruger Mini 14 Model 585 Mini 14 with the A-TM Stock and just now added the Harmonic Barrel Stabilizer II with adjustable gas block feature, your bushing with the Samson Hannibal rail, It Married right up with maybe 1/32 in between them. Was able to torque to specs no issues but had to use factory screws. So no problems so far mixing parts, I will test for reliability tomorrow, Just letting you know if anyone asks.

North Port,

Hello Guys, I got the new M14 style flash hider last night for my Ruger Mini 14 and installed it about an hour ago. I love it and it beats that front straight bladed site. Thanks Richard Arreseigor
