Just wanted to let you know that I installed your Stabilizer II SOCOM on my 580 series Mini 14 and took it to the range yesterday. After previously struggling with alarmingly large groups and flyers, I shot two sub MOA groups and several more sub 1.2 MOA groups. The strut also did a great job at pulling heat out of the barrel. It no longer gets too hot to touch after a few shots. Great product!
Dear Mr. Emmite,
I want to thank you for the fine job you did on my trigger group.
It feels wonderful and is just how I hoped it would be.
Again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
HAPPY CAMPER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY YAY YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Happy to report that my Ruger Mini 14 trigger group
DID ARRIVE in today's mail !!!!!! 😁😎😀I reinstalled the trigger group into my Mini 14 and dry fired it with a snap cap and it is WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a HUGE difference. Very happy with the improved trigger pull. Will have to wait to fire on range but so far with dry firing snap cap it is good.
Carl. Thanks for a great job. The Post Office makes us pay for Priority Two Day Shipping. I can see on the box you guys mailed this on Dec 3. Today is Dec 10 !!!!!!!!!! SEVEN DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a joke the PO is and the scary part was the mail in ballots for the election !! Who knows how many ballots are out there in Limbo Land ?Let me know how to leave you guys good feedback for this excellent trigger job.
BlessingsMerry Christmas
Wayne AdamsHello,
I was able to take a deer with the Mini 14 350 Legend that you built for me. It took some trial and error to get the magazine exactly right. I ended up using a steel 6.8 spc mini 14 magazine from ProMag and slightly modified the feed lips. I designed and printed an antitilt follower that that allowed my ammunition to stack and feed reliably at the perfect angle. The magazines hold 10 rounds and work like a charm. I ended up making 5. I was able to fill a few tags and put meat in the freezer in Iowa last Saturday with it. No antlers worth calling home about. Thanks for taking a risk working on this project. It turned out to be a pretty cool little deer rifle.
Thanks,Kodie Haas
I am working this mini 30 out!
My problem now is getting hunting ammo!
I got 3 coyotes since that message and a gigantic 8 pointer with it! (I mean gigantic) 19.75 inside spread! 11" G2's...) I'll send pics later!
OK, Carl, Its easy to look at. My 3 son's like it. (Two Soldiers and an Orthodontist in training)
My Woman likes it. She said "It looks nice". (She has never said anything either way about a gun before) I bought it new and never fired it before i sent it to you. (But I could tell it sucked)
I fired it and the front sight was way off but an easy adjustment.
My first 100 yard group with the peep sights (I'll never put an optic on an infantryman's rifle) was all bullets in a 4" orange sticker. (I'm certain that I am the limiting factor)To test that I moved the left top corner to the 6'O Clock position of the orange and printed a 2" group just to the left of it.
I'm sure that its a minute of angle rifle now and If I'd have let you do the trigger I'd be a hero on the farm!
But I'll tell you, I like the factory trigger. Its just like the trigger on the M-14 I used in the Army. I take up the creep and squeeze from there to fire it. Very predictable.I don't really give a shit about target shooting though. Zeroing the rifle was a one time thing. I predict that I wont miss anything with it.
I was lucky enough to get some Federal Fusion hunting bullets so I am going to tote it Deer hunting. (I'll send you pics of the rifle with the Buck I shoot with it)I'll send you pics of the rifle too when I get to it. I have the traditional stock. And the paratrooper in me bought a Butler Creek Folding stock.
I am very happy with it! -Jimmy
Dear Mr. Emmite
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that my Custom Mini 14 rifle arrived safely yesterday. I will write you again after I have shot it. I can say it exceeds my expectations in physical beauty. I will provide you with better feedback later. Be well.
Kind regards,Carl,
Rifle showed up just as l was slicing BBQ'd flank steak for dinner. Steak was great, but l had to slow down eating and be normal.....l wanted to open the box. Finally got dinner over with. I was at my buddies Dave's house and had another friend John there too. Plus Dave's wife and 5 dogs...3 labs, 1 golden, and 1 mexican rescue.
After dinner was cleaned off the table, it seemed to take forever unboxing then carefully cutting all the plastic wrap off. It was wrapped up tighter than a prime rib going to grandma's house.....ah....l was shaking by the time l got it off the barrelllllllWhoa, what a nice new rifle. You and your crew, wife and sons, did a great job...thank you and it was worth the wait.
Now its up to me to break it in. I have to read your directions again and order the supplies. Im off to Cabela's to run down a gun case....Again thankyou. Mini 14 Rifle really looks great (bad ass)....
Pretty sure l will have a question or two later...Bless you all...
Darrel
Hello. I received my Mini 14 barrel yesterday, assembled the rifle and it looks great. I can't wit to shoot it.

Accuracy Systems Ruger Mini 6.8 spc went to work!
Hi again Carl!
The new accuracy system mini 14 6.8 spc made a third awesome harvest this past weekend on a 150lb wild hog! A touch under 200 yards and the hog dropped in his tracks! See the picture below! I’m super stoked with my new accuracy system mini 6.8 spc!Be Well!
Steven E. Matthews Jr.I finished breaking in the barrel on my new accuracy systems 6.8 Ruger mini last week. The rifle liked the 120gr sst Ammo the best abs I ended up with a 3 shot group that averaged 1”. I’m very pleased with that!
Be Well!Steven E. Matthews Jr.
Hello Carl
Wanted to thank you for the work that you did on my 186 series Ruger Mini-14. It looks great with the black accents. Need to get it to the range to set the adjustable gas block on it.
Hope that the one that you presently have in your shop will be just as great, especially with the trigger job that you will be doing.
ThanksLarry Thurston
Carl,
I got the Mini-14 on Wednesday, WOW, it is so cool. You all do have an eye for detail and put out a total quality product. THANKS.
Everything has been crazy here (at work and as my wife's care-giver) so I didn't get to take it out yet. Can't wait to sight it in. It didn't help that I was on a waterfowl hunt the weekend before (perfect weather, 50 ducks and 50 geese between 4 people in 2 days). So good things do happen. Never before had a hunt like that.
Someone I know gave me a couple of magazines so I am set for the three gun coming up and don't care about the lost magazines.
Always, best wishes,
WayneThanks everyone cannot wait to see how it shoots thanks again!! Great job! AR 300WSM
Thank you!!!! I very well pleased and speechless. Proof is on paper!

Gentlemen:
Three weeks ago I took an older 188 series Mini-14 Ranch Rifle out for the first time and the results weren't encouraging. 2 inch groups from the bench at 50 yards using the stock iron sights and 55 grain boat-tail ammo. In the hope that this was the rifle or the ammo and not me, I did some research, and bought your 5 1/4 inch non-adjustable stabilizer, a set of gas bushings, extra strength recoil spring, buffer set, and a carbine style rear sight. After reading the instructions and getting a torque screwdriver I installed the parts, using the .045 bushing.
I took it out today to test, expecting to encounter some teething issues the first time out. The range was occupied by some friends, and not wanting to interrupt their shooting for basically a function test, I set the sight for 100 yards and fired five rounds from the bench at a soda can I saw at the 100 yard line. I would not have been surprised if I had to put in a larger bushing, remove one buffer, or make sight adjustments, but I didn't have to. The rifle functioned and the can hopped all five times! Wow! The bolt didn't stay open after the last round, but after the next five it did, and from that point the rifle functioned flawlessly,
I credit this to your experience with the Mini-14 platform, the quality of the parts you supply and the clarity of your instructions. The parts were shipped quickly, I'm happy with the results and feel that my money was well-spent.
Thank you,
Henry Gagnon
Hey Carl,
Hope you're doing well. I took the Ruger Mini 14 to the range today. Close to dialed in. I have to comment on your trigger work. I am a trigger guy, and this is, by far is my new best. Better than my Bergara HMR Pro, my CZ Shadow(CZCustom shop), and my CZ Scorpion (HBI rebuild kit). Just amazing.
Well done...Thank You and Your Crew, Kevin
Thanks for the great product. It makes the Mini look so much better with your Mini 14 Birch Hand guards.
PeterReceived your Mini 30 XL firing pin last week, installed it and took the rifle to the range today. Not one misfire using Russian ammo. It works great!! Thank you!
Virgil DennyHello Carl,
Just want to say thanks for the smooth and very improved trigger pull on my Ruger Mini 14. Measured 3-3/4 lbs on my RCBS trigger pull scale. Now to get to the range.Regards,
Ned BerubeMini-14 trigger job Received it today. I am extremely impressed! Installed it and I can say the trigger itself is incredible. Extremely tight and crisp and almost no travel. Very very impressed. And it looks great too. Can't wait to take it to the range!
Thanks again, DuncanCarl,
You did the Mini 14 trigger work for me several months ago, and a few projects that I had got a bit in the way of shooting both minis. I was able to do it yesterday and it was a huge improvement. Both rifles also ran steel cased Wolf Ammo flawlessly. My Mini 14 was built in 1980 and I picked it up a few years ago in an auction. I have one of your barrel stabilizers on it as well. I have several ARs including a custom build, but shooting that old Mini has to be one of my favorite .223s that I have. The adjustable gas block makes it a very soft shooter.
I just wanted to pass this along.Jeff Dutton

Hi Carl, this is Mike again,
I received the Mini 14 barrel yesterday and it looks amazing. Love it.
Thank youMike T
I ordered and received one of your adj. gas blocks and I must say, it works as advertised. Very happy with it. Drops cases at my feet instead of having to go on a hike to pick up brass. I reload, sooooo, helps alot!!
Thanks again for a great product.
Sirs:
I installed your .065 gas port into my 189 series Ruger Mini 30. The first thing I noticed was the brass was now only 10 to 12 feet away, instead of 20-25 feet away. Felt recoil was also less, I'm sure because speed of the recoiling bolt and carrier were slowed. My shot grouping improved. With some ammo substantially. The most notable was Fiocchi 124 fmj. The group was reduced from 4" three shot group to a 1.25 inch three shot group. What the gas port did was eliminate the flyer of the groups. With the original gas port, the first two shot would produce a nice group, but the third shot always opened the group. Now three shot groups do not show this pattern. Out of 8 different brands of ammo, only one, Geco 124 fmj, did not improve and got slightly worse. All groups were shot on a rest at 50 yards. You have an excellent product.

Hi Carl,
Here are targets from my first 21 rounds through the rifle. I tend to be a 1 MOA shooter with probably 20% 1/2 MOA. The last-6 photo is shots 16-21 fired in two groups of 3 with cleanings between the groups. The lower group of three shots is the last 3, #19, 20, 21 @ 1/4 MOA. At that point I stopped to come home and clean the rest of the rifle properly.I'm very impressed! Thanks.
Don ThayerHi, Carl. Custom Mini 14 you built me, 24" x 1" Bull barrel, Great work!
Adam CzaplinskiI received the barrel stabilizer and installed it. looks great! I have not fired it yet but I wanted to ask you about the front clamp. It closes nicely around the stabilizer bar but leaves quite a gap on the barrel side (top). At least .060 maybe a little more. Is that normal? The clamp looks like it is sized equally both sides so I don't think there is a right or wrong orientation but I could be wrong. I did make sure to use the spacer/lockwashers between the pieces. Just checking with you in case this is not normal.
Thank you CarlJim Harvey
Hi Jim, As long as the clamp's circumference matches the barrel circumference the gap is normal, it gives room for clamping power. The washers are a must or you will damage the clamp.
Thank you,Carl Emmite Jr.
I bought the Howitzer style muzzle break for my 300 win mag. I give two thumbs to accuracy systems. My 300 kicked like a mule before. Now it's like a 410 shotgun. I would let my 3 yr old granddaughter shoot it now. This break has made a world of a difference. Carl helped me with my order and they had it sent out with fast serves. I will tell anyone who wants to install a muzzle break on their rifle give accuracy systems there business. Can't go wrong in any way. Thanks accuracy systems. I will be ordering another one from you guys.

Dear Accuracy Systems
About 10 years ago you rebarreled my Mini 14 in .223.I know this letter is a little late but I thought you should know a really good thing came out of it.
When I was at the range looking for best accuracy, I began adjusting the gas block lower and lower while shooting for groups. The groups were better then stock but still not to my (admittedly high) expectations. When the gas block eventually reached the shut off point, I discovered the groups were down to ragged one hole level - this (if I remember correctly) was with the Walter barrel.
So it occurs to me, I would like an adjustable gas block that has an On/Off capability. Either a lever or a push button type that allows me to select only on or off.Can you build me such a gas block? It would be going on my stock mini starting with serial 583.
Thank YouFrank Meadows
701-XXX-XXXXHi Carl,
