Valued Customer,The work performed on your trigger was to enhance your shooting ability by giving you the edge on knowing when your trigger would release the hammer as opposed to guessing when it would release the hammer. Any time a trigger is worked on safety could be compromised so we tried to give you a balance of performance with out compromising safety. Remember a trigger group is a mechanical device and any mechanical device could fail!! So make sure you always follow strict safety practices!! Make sure the rifle is pointed in a safe direction until you are ready to fire at your intended target!! Now that has been said your trigger will still have some take up this is a build in characteristic of the Remington two stage trigger. What we did was to take out the excessive creep so you could anticipate when the trigger would break and to make the trigger lighter. When you are ready to shoot and the safety has been taken off pull the trigger very lightly you will notice at a point the trigger will stop. At that point any more pressure and the hammer will fall. Practice dry firing the trigger a few times after reinstallation into the rifle so you know what to expect. Any questions or problems please discontinue use of the rifle immediately and CALL US we will be happy to help you. 303-822-6849
